FAQ - Frequently asked questions
Our journeys are designed for people with good general fitness, but not necessarily any technical mountaineering skills. Each hike is led at a steady, considered pace, with frequent pauses and attention to group rhythm. The Matterhorn journey is more demanding and includes exposed sections. If you have any doubts or questions, please reach out and we will talk about it together.
Groups are intentionally small (maximum 6 participants). This allows for better safety management, a calmer pace, and more thoughtful photography and video documentation.
No. You don't need any photography or video background to participate. We offer practical, accessible tips during the journey for those who want to improve their own images, but the experience is first and foremost about being in the mountains.
Your journey is professionally documented throughout, without staging or interruption. We focus on natural moments, movement through the landscape, and changing light. After the trip, you receive a curated selection of high-quality photos and videos capturing the experience as it actually felt.
Overnight stays are in traditional mountain huts or refuges, in shared dormitories. Dinner and breakfast are included. These are authentic alpine experiences, prioritising location, atmosphere, and access to exceptional viewpoints rather than hotel-style comfort.
Yes — but not in a conventional sense. Luxury here means access, care, expertise, small groups, and unique viewpoints, not private rooms or spa facilities. It's about time, presence, and being guided well, rather than amenities.
After booking, you'll receive a detailed packing list. In general, you'll need:

We're happy to advise on gear if needed.
